Library Media Center
Anderson's Media Center is a very busy place! Students visit our library media center to read, check out books, complete an assignment, take an Accelerated Reading quiz, research a topic, type a document, create a PowerPoint slideshow, edit a video, or just look for the latest new books!
Ebooks and Audiobooks
Check out an eBook using Destiny Discover:
- Download the free Destiny Discover app onto your handheld device.
- Open the app, search for Michigan > enter Anderson Middle School, Berkley MI.
- Log In into Destiny using your library username and password (hint – username and password are the same) press Submit.
Search and download tips:
- This app will search up all books in our catalog, pay attention to the type icon (book, eBook, Audio).
- To search only eBooks or Audiobooks, tap the box below the search button.
- To download, scroll down the list to find the books that are available for checkout.

Hours and Service
7:35 – 8:05 AM: Morning Assistance Team (MAT). MAT meets in the Media Center and is supervised by Ms. Joseph, Paraeducator. It is open to all AMS students to do homework, take an Accelerated Reading quiz, or read a book before school begins.
8:05 AM – 3:30 PM: Regular library services are offered by Ms. Watson, Library Media Specialist, during school hours. Students will come to the Media Center from class individually, in small groups, or with their classroom teacher. The Media Center is usually open during both lunch recesses. However, it may be closed to lunch drop-in when a class is in session.
3:30 - 4:30 PM: Homework Club meets in the Media Center after school. Students receive help with their homework from our Intervention Specialists, Mr. Bengry and Ms. Wilt.
